As a testament to the oncology relevance of the DDM technology, Pontus Nordenfelt has been interviewed, and an article highlighting the method will be featured in Onkologi I Sverige (fall 2023 or early 2024), one of the leading magazines reaching oncologists in Sweden.
Pontus Nordenfelt has together with his then PhDstudents, Oscar André and Johannes Kumra Ahnlide established a spin-off company (late 2022) based on the DDM technology (Cell Reports Methods paper). The company Cytely.iois building a software solution to enhance existing microscopes with data-driven capabilities. This endeavour has so far received support from the Wallenberg Launch Pad (WALP) programme, and has been selected as one of the companies listed on theIVA100-list.
